Local authors to be featured on Ava square

Local authors will be featured during a book sale and signing Saturday, July 11, on the Ava Court Square.

The event will be held from 8 a.m. to noon in the gazebo on the square, giving visitors a chance to meet local writers, purchase books and have copies signed by the authors.

Several authors are expected to be in attendance, including Shelley Mitchell, Daniel Harrow and Daniel Gast, Paul Cecchini, Tiffany Crosby, Regina Coryell, Laura Hargis, Ozarks Agrarian News, Savanna Golden, Nicole Martin-Myers, Andy Cook, David C. Reed and Marqueta Jonas Graham.

A variety of books are expected to be represented, including children’s books, coloring books, board books, foraging books, faith based titles, romance, mystery and more.

Sample platters from local bakers and drinks will also be available as part of the event, which is being held in conjunction with the local farmers market.

Community members are invited to stop by, support area authors and see what the farmers market has to offer.
