Weed Control Workshop for Pastures and Hay Fields

The Douglas County University of Missouri Extension is holding a Weed Control for Pastures and Hay Fields – Cultural, Mechanical and Chemical Options workshop for youth and adults. Presented by Joshua Dunn, SC Region Agronomy Specialist.

A deep dive into best practices for successfully managing weeds in your hay fields and pastures. Topics will include: Forage stand evaluation, toxic weeds, weed control strategies, Q&A bring your ID and control questions.

The workshop is Thursday, July 9, starting at 5:30 p.m., held at the Ava General Baptist Activity Center, 213 E Webster Ave, Ava, Missouri. This is a free workshop, but you are required to register. For more information or for ADA accommodations, call 417-256-2391.
