Living Lands Art Collective to Host Exhibit

Living Lands Art Collective will host a special exhibit on Saturday, May 23, bringing together art, conservation and community in celebration of the Ozark region. The event will feature longtime artist Mara Bosch, whose work has been shaped by the landscapes, ridges, creeks and quiet beauty of the Ozarks.
The exhibit will be held at Living Lands Art Collective, 106 E. Washington Ave., Ava. Doors open at 5 p.m., followed by an artist show and tell at 5:30 p.m., a presentation by Bosch at 6 p.m., a session titled “Artists as Stewards of the Ozarks” at 6:15 p.m., and snacks and local folk music at 7 p.m. The evening will conclude at dusk with storytelling and a crankie show.
Bosch’s work spans paintings, sculpture, jewelry and functional fiber arts. Her art is inspired by the rolling hills, deep hollows and flowing creeks near her home and studio outside Mansfield, and reflects a focus on ecology and spirit.
Living Lands Art Collective describes its mission as creativity, community and connection. Through educational opportunities, workshops and inclusive community events, the nonprofit aims to inspire and empower people of all ages while fostering a deeper appreciation for the arts in rural Ozark communities.
