Judge Carter’s Circuit Law Day Oct. 6, 2020

During Judge Craig Carter’s Circuit law day on October 6, 2020, the following defendants were sentenced to the Department of Corrections:
Shane R. Bujarski, 41, Norwood, was sentenced to 5 years in prison for Possession of Methamphetamine after he admitted to violating his probation. The original offense occurred in June of 2016 and was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Jenny A. Pettitt, 52, Willow Springs, was sentenced to 4 years in prison for Possession of Methamphetamine after she admitted to violating her probation. The original offense occurred in June of 2016 and was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol with assistance from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Department.
Logan D. Benson, 21, Mansfield, was sentenced to 5 years in prison for Possession of Methamphetamine. The offense occurred January of 2020 and was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol with assistance from the Ava Police Department and the Douglas County Sheriff’s Department.
Willie Hodges, 35, Marshfield, was sentenced to 4 years in prison for Tampering with a Motor Vehicle 1st Degree after admitting to violating his probation. The original offense occurred in February of 2019 and was investigated by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Department.
Steven L. Bennett, 30, Seymour, was sentenced to 4 years in prison for Resisting Arrest. The offense occurred in September of 2020 and was investigated by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Department.
