Circuit Court Law Day Proceedings On Sept. 4
From the Douglas County Prosecuting Attorney
During a large Circuit Court Law Day on September 4, 2018, the following individuals were sentenced to the Department of Corrections:
Joseph W. Bell, 38, Mansfield, was sentenced to eight years in prison for possession of methamphetamine. Bell was ordered to complete long term drug treatment within the Department of Correctins. The offense occurred in December 2017 and was investigated by the Douglas County Sheriffs Department.
Tylor Rynard, 32, Squires, was sesntenced to five years in prison for possession of methamphetamine after admitting to violation his probation. The original offense occurred in September of 2016 and was investigated by the Douglas County Sheriffs Department.
Jason P. Hesterlee, 37, Ava, was sentenced to five years in prison for possession of methamphetamine after admitting to violating his probation. The original offense occurred in June 2017 and was investigated by the Douglas County Sheriffs Department.
Tammy L. Richardson, 48, Ava, was sentenced to three years in prison for possession of methamphetamine. The offense occurred in June 2017 and was investigated by the Ava Police Department.
There was a total of 81 felony cases on the docket. Ten guilty pleas were entered and two cases were probation revocations.
