New Assistant Track Coach at Missouri State University. 8.9.18

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Missouri State University interim head track and field coach Jordan Fife has announced, the addition of Clive Terrelonge (TERRA-long) as assistant track and field coach.

Terrelonge joins the Bears after 14 years at the University of Connecticut. He will oversee Missouri State’s sprinters and hurdlers. 

During his time at the UConn, the program became a force on the national stage. Terrelonge trained 22 individual conference champions, broke 14 conference records, and was a member of coaching staffs that racked up three AAC titles, two Big East team indoor and outdoor championships. He also is a five-time recipient of the USTFCCA Northeastern Region Assistant Coach of the Year.

Prior to his time at UConn, Terrelonge worked at Brown University and his alma mater, Lincoln University in Pennsylvania, where he received his Bachelors of Science degree in health and physical education in 1994.

Terrelonge was inducted into the NCAA Division III Track and Field Hall of Fame in 2005.

Terrelonge’s appointment is pending formal approval by the Missouri State Board of Governors at its next regularly-scheduled meeting.
