Another closed meeting called for Wednesday, Nov. 5.
The Ava R-1 School Board held a closed session meeting on Thursday, Oct. 30, at 6:30 p.m. in the Board of Education meeting room.
For the occasion, the school board posted two items of business, which were noted as: a) legal and b) personnel.
According to Dr. Nancy Lawler, superintendent, the school board did not vote or take action during the session. No additional details were forthcoming.
Note: As the Herald went to press Wednesday, the school board held another special closed meeting. The evening session started at 6:00 p.m.
Again, the called meeting agenda stated legal and personnel issues as reasons for the session.
