Ava Elementary Cafeteria Staff Hosts Breakfast With the Champions During October
Each of the Ava Elementary students pictured above won a prize in a drawing held at the conclusion of the "Breakfast with the Champions" event at the Ava Elementary cafeteria. During the month of October the Ava Elementary School celebrated “Breakfast With the Champions.”
Each week during the month brought a different team of “champions” to the cafeteria to have breakfast with the students.
On Oct. 4 the Lady Bears softball team had breakfast with the students, and on Oct. 11 the Bears football team showed up. On Oct. 18 Coach Liz Kyger and the cross country team had breakfast with the students, and on Oct. 24 Coach Sarah Roy and the Lady Bears volleyball team stopped by for breakfast.
The students who ate breakfast with the teams had their names entered in a drawing for that day and the four winners were selected at the end of the month, to win an autographed baseball shirt, autographed football, autographed volleyball and a cross country shirt.
The cafeteria staff appreciates each of the teams and their coaches who participated in this annual event to inspire enthusiasm in the elementary school.
