Man Rescued From Flood Waters on Cowskin Creek This Morning

The driver of this pickup was rescued from the floodwaters of Cowskin Creek around 5:30 Thursday morning after the truck was swept off the low-water crossing on Y Highway. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Department, Ava City Fire Department and Ava Rural Fire Department were involved in the rescue.
