Caulfield Woman's Death Is Homicide; Charges Filed
The death of a 63-year-old woman at Caulfield last week has been ruled a homicide, according to information released this week as the investigation continues.
Joy Dishneau’s body was found inside her home on Monday, Jan. 2, and at that time the death was ruled “suspicious.”
Dishneau’s Jeep Liberty was also missing from the residence and was later found near Dawt Mill, in Ozark County.
Following an autopsy on Wednesday, the death was called a homicide, although authorities were not releasing the cause of death.
Two people were arrested early in the week and have now been charged with killing the woman.
Elisabeth Gunter, 43, of Norwood, and Dennis R. Woodward, 46, Norwood, are both charged with first-degree murder, armed criminal action, first-degree robbery and tampering with a motor vehicle.
It is believed the two robbed and killed Dishneau who ran a home-based business called Naturally Enchanted.
The business was said to be a “nature and spiritual shop” whose products included herbal incense.
