Oklahoma man charged after K Highway tire slashing report

AVA, Mo. — An Oklahoma man faces felony charges after Douglas County authorities responded to a report of property damage involving farm machinery.

According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Sheriff Chris Degase, Lt. Nelson and Detective Long were dispatched to a residence on K Highway at approximately 2 p.m. on June 10 for a report of a male subject with a knife who had allegedly slashed several tires on farm machinery.

Upon arrival, the male suspect was located in a camper trailer and taken into custody without incident.

Mitchell Scott Ullrich, 41, of Oklahoma, was charged with first degree property damage and armed criminal action. Due to Ullrich’s extensive violent criminal history, bond was set at $250,000 cash only.

All charges are allegations, and defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
