City of Ava Proclaims May 10-16 as National Skilled Nursing Care Week

Mayor Kirk Pueppke presented the Heart of the Ozarks staff and administrator a proclamation where the city proclaims the week of May 10-16 as National Skilled Nursing Care Week. This year’s theme is “Moments in Bloom”, encouraging connections and nurturing of lives in skilled nursing facilities. We urge all citizens to visit a loved one, family member or friend residing in any care setting and offer a kind word, a personal touch, and spend time participating in various activities to unite those from all walks of life in need of our continuing love and support. Who knows, you might get asked to do the “chicken dance!” Fun and laughter is always needed and if you get a chance, please recognize the staff for all their hard work and dedication.
