Fox Trotters to Honor Scholarship Recipients at Upcoming Meeting
Fox Trotter competitors got some seat time in before the event on Tuesday.
The Douglas County Fox Trotting Horse Breeder’s Association (DCFTHBA) will host its upcoming meeting on Tuesday, May 5, at Williams Century Farm in Ava, with a special focus on recognizing local scholarship recipients.
The event is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. with a meet-and-greet and meal alongside scholarship awardees. The association will provide taco salad ingredients, allowing attendees to build their own meals, and guests are encouraged to bring a side dish or dessert to share.
A formal presentation honoring scholarship recipients will take place at 6:45 p.m., followed by the association’s regular meeting at 7 p.m.
Association officials note the event offers an opportunity for members and community supporters to connect while celebrating student achievements.
