Generational Differences Seminar To Be Conducted by Missouri Training Institute
This course outlines the characteristics of four distinct generations in today’s workplace: Matures, Baby Boomers, Generation X, and the Millenials.
The Generational Differences Seminar here will discuss the formative experiences that helped to shape each generation and how they have responded to issues such as adversity, technology, and the evolving complexity of our world.
The seminar will be held Friday, Sept. 29, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at Emerson Climate Technologies/Copeland, 1400 Lyle Street, Ava.
This session will give participants information and effective tools for appreciating others’ perspectives, understanding their behaviors and differing motivational factors and provide suggestions on how to collaborate in mutually beneficial ways. It’s important to remember: “It’s not right or wrong, it’s just different.”
