Ambulance District Will Open Bids Today For Building Addition

The Ava Area Ambulance District will open bids for the second time today on a proposed building addition at the ambulance station.
Potential bidders have been notified that today’s bid opening has been moved up to 1 p.m., from the previously scheduled 3 p.m. time slot.
The original bid opening was held on June 29. Two bids were submitted and both were well above projected costs, so those bids were rejected and the project was resubmitted for bids to be opened today.
Keystone Architects of Marshfield will be in charge of the bid opening.
The ambulance district is seeking to build a meeting/training room adjacent to the existing building on Prince Street.
