Seighfried “Jay” Watson Jr., 65 years of age, passed from this life Wednesday, July 5, 2017, in his home in Springfield, Missouri. Jay is survived by his wife, Janice Watson; children, Jayson Watson III, Richard Vessels, Dan Elder Jr.; mother, Peggy Potts; brothers, Frank Watson and wife Linda, Steve Watson and wife Jean, Mike Watson, Bill Watson, John Potts Jr. and wife Kerie, David Potts; sisters, Nancy Barnes and husband Leland, and Debbie Potts. He is preceded in death by his father, Seighfried Watson Sr. and stepmother Margaret Watson; step-father, John Potts Sr.; brothers Doug Watson, and Robert Watson and wife Leann Watson; and sister-in-law, Debbie Watson. A memorial service was held at Walnut Lawn Funeral Home Monday, July 10, 2017.
