Kasha Marie Porter, age 20 of Ozark, Mo., passed away unexpectedly Saturday afternoon, July 1, 2017 in Cox South Hospital, Springfield, Mo. She was born Aug. 30, 1996, in Springfield, the daughter of Amy (Morrison) Kipper and David Porter. After graduating from Sparta High School in 2015, Kasha decided to continue her education at Ozarks Technical Community College. In July 2015, Kasha was employed at Godfather’s Pizza in Ozark and recently began working at Arc of the Ozarks with disabled children as well. In her free time, Kasha loved to do art, listen to music and be with her network of friends. With her bubbly personality, Kasha had the ability to make people laugh and was a beautiful, vibrant and a caring girl. Kasha will sadly missed but will live on through her families’ memories and through the lives of those benefiting from the gift of life received from the vital organs she generously donated. Kasha is survived by her mother, Amy Kipper and husband Kurt, of Springfield; her father, David Porter and wife Pam, of Ava; brother, Garrett Kipper; step-brothers, Zackary Kipper and Augustus Kipper and, Dalton Eagleman; stepsisters, Elizabeth Eagleman and Kelly Malone. She is the granddaughter of Tim and Charlene (Snow) Sherrill of Sparta and Kenneth Morrison of Sparta. Kasha also leaves behind loving cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and an enormous number of beloved friends. Kasha was preceded in death by her grandparents, Pat and Louise Porter of Ava. Funeral services for Kasha were at 10 a.m. Friday, July 7, 2017 in Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark, Mo., and burial followed in Sparta Cemetery.
