Larry A. Adams

It is with sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Larry A. Adams announce his passing on May 29, 2017, at the age of 77. He was born Sept. 12, 1939, in Garrison, Mo. He was a preacher and your very typical everyday “jack of all trades.” He loved his job at Ava Housing Authority where he was the maintenance supervisor for several years. He retired in February 2017. He loved spending time with his family and his most loved pastime was reading and studying his Bible. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Judy; his son, Larry and wife Jennifer, of Pensacola, Fla.; his daughter, Candy Adams, of Ava; his granddaughter, Amber and husband Keith, of Alabama; his grandsons, Timmy, New Hampshire, Cory, Troy and Brandon, Indiana, Jon Daniel, St. Louis, and Reggie, who is stationed overseas; his great-granddaughters, Tori, Bailey and Desiree; his great-grandson, Rylan; also many other family members and friends. Larry was preceded in death by his mother, Thelma; sister Barbara, of Washington; brother Donnie, of Wyoming; and his son, Scott, of Alabama. His favorite quote was: ”This world is not my home, I’m just passing through.”
