Llawanna “Wanda” Jewell (Lansdown) Hampshire

Llawanna “Wanda” Jewell (Lansdown) Hampshire was born July 5, 1948 in Douglas County, Mo., to Ralph and Augusta (Wallace) Lansdown. She departed this life Feb. 13, 2017, at her home in northern Douglas County.

Wanda was a loving housewife, mother, grandmother, and caregiver. She loved frogs, watching the birds in her backyard, and collecting rocks (her favorite ones were the ones given to her by her grandchildren). Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family and friends.

Wanda is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Hampshire III, of the home; her sons, Christopher and Timothy Stout and their wives, Shelly and Della; son William Hampshire IV and wife Vikki; her grandchildren, Johnathon, Bryon, Kimber, AJ, and Ashley Stout, William V and Sabrina Hampshire; a sister Susie Shaw; brothers Bob, Sam and James Lansdown and wives Linda and Sherry, Donald Wallace and wife Ruth;  and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Augusta (Wallace) Lansdown; brothers Luther Wallace and Eugene Lansdown; and nieces Norma, Karen and Samantha.

Local arrangements were under the direction of Ava Family Funeral Home.
