Ava To Host Coffee and Conversation Jan. 20 — With Lunch Provided

Are you interested in helping Ava students and addressing unmet needs associated with hunger, health and hygiene? If so, on Wednesday, Jan. 20, community members are invited to attend a Coffee and Conversation and learn about Care to Learn, and the group’s mission and vision for the Ozarks.

Care to Learn is a non-profit founded in Springfield, in 2007, by Doug Pitt and several community-minded businessmen. The resolve of Care to Learn is to assist students who deal with hunger, health and hygiene issues at school.

The meeting, which starts at 12 noon, will be held in the Board of Education room located on the north side of the Decker Library building, and lunch is being provided by the school. Those interested in attending are asked to Rsvp to Teresa Stillings at (417) 683-4717, and place your name on the list for lunch.
