Junie Mae Epps, 84

Junie Mae Epps, 84 years, 7 months,  and 15 days old, passed to Heaven on July 3, 2014.
Junie was born on Nov. 18, 1929  in Thornfield, Mo. to Milum and Inza (Howard) Lawson.
Junie and Leonard Epps were united in marriage on Aug. 16, 1947 in Mountain Home, Ark., and to this union three children were born.
Junie was employed by the steel plant as a welder and later worked at Ava Place.
She was a resident of Ava, and attended the Ava General Baptist Church.
She and her husband Leonard enjoyed fishing and camping. Junie was very proud of the fact that she had visited all 50 states.
Junie was preceded by her parents; her husband Leonard; two brothers, Junior and Ted;  and three sisters, Josephine, Irene, and Francis.
Junie is survived by three children, Charles and wife Laura of  Elkland, Mo., Ronnie of Ava, Mo., and Judy Nipper and husband Eddie of Belgrade, Mo.; eight grandchildren, Angie, Deanna, Carrie, Jeff, Joe, Becky, Shelly, and Tina; nine great-grandchildren, Kimberly, Allysa, Austin, Peyton, Chloe, Isabella, Olivia, Garrett, and Brylee; as well as many nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
Services for Junie were Monday, July 7, at 11 a.m. at Clinkingbeard Chapel with a visitation at 10 a.m. to service time. Officiating was Pastor Oren Alcorn.  Graveside service followed at Thornfield Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Thornfield Cemetery.
