City of Ava Dog Pound Bid legal

Sealed bids for the City of Ava – Dog Pound Construction Materials will be accepted at the City of Ava, 127 SW 2^nd Street, P.O. Box 967, Ava, Missouri 65608, until 2:00 P.M., Local Time, on January 2, 2014 and then publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after the date and time specified will be returned unopened.

The bid consists of all materials required for construction of a dog pound.

The City of Ava hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex or national origin in consideration for an award.

Material specifications can be acquired from the City of Ava, 115 SW 2^nd Avenue, P.O. Box 967, Ava, Missouri 65608; 417-683-5516. Bids shall be submitted to the city clerk and shall be identified as bids on the envelope.

The City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in the completion of such forms, and to award to the lowest  responsible bidder.
