Red Cross Will Conduct Two Blood Drives In Douglas County In April

The American Red Cross will conduct two blood drives in Douglas County during the month of April.

One will be held Monday, April 9, from 1 to 5 p.m., at the Ava Lions Club, 304 N. Jefferson.

The second is in conjunction with the annual Brady Lee Memorial Event on Saturday, April 28.

The bloodmobile will be parked at the Goodhope Community Building at the junction of Highways T and O at Goodhope, between 12 noon and 4 p.m.

When you come to give blood, bring photo ID or donor card to the blood drive. Be sure to eat prior to donating blood.

Refreshments will be served to donors following the donation.

Red Cross Tshirts and caps will be available for all donors while supplies last.
