Preparing For An Energy-Short World At Brixey March 30

World renowned author Dennis Meadows will be our guest, presenting a talk at the One Garden Botanical Library in Brixey on Friday, March 30 at 7 p.m.

Dennis led the group of 16 researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology who created the book Limits to Growth in 1972. This book has become one of the most influential environmental texts in the world. It has sold over 10 millions copies in 35 languages.

Dennis is the author of 10 books and he continues to speak publicly and offer guidance to government and corporate leaders all over the world. In 2009 he was awarded the Japan Prize by the Emperor of Japan.

On March 1 of this year, he presented at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D.C., to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the book Limits To Growth.

His talk in Brixey is titled “Preparing for an Energy-Short World.” He will discuss general ways to prepare for an energy short world at the level of the home and community.
