Terry Lynn Todd

Terry Lynn Todd son of John and Lula Belle (Roy) Todd was born March 31, 1958 in Junction City, Kansas and departed this life on Friday, July 9, 2021 at Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri at the age of 63 years, 3 months and 8 days.

Terry was a Local 669 Sprinkler Fitter in the fire protection industry out of Warsaw, MO. He ran his own sign company, Cattywampus and Little Off Kilter. He was an avid artist specializing in oil painting and sketching. He loved to play pool, have a cold beer and BBQ with friends and family. Terry loved working with his hands and has built a few hot-rod cars along with various gidgets and gadgets of his own creation.

He had a knack for making those around him smile and laugh with his charismatic, ornery manner. He lit up every room he entered and had more personality than most men. He had many friends at Marshfield Care Center and quickly rose to become the President of Activities for the residents.

Some of his favorite sayings were “Shoot the bastards!” and “Do these britches make my butt look big?”. The Big Red Drinks and Busch Beer were his favorite drinks to pass the time with, or just a plain ole un-sweet tea.

He will forever be remembered as an amazing son, loving Daddy and affectionate husband. He was one of the best buddies anyone could have. He was loyal to a fault and loved to help anyone in need. He never met a stranger.

Terry is survived by his parents, John and Lula Belle Todd of Seymour, MO and his five daughters – Brandy Todd of Branson, MO; Sabrina Todd and her husband, Derrek Honeycutt of West Plains, MO; Nicole Todd and her husband Matt Mahan of Seymour, MO; Amanda Todd of Clarksville, AR; and Valerie Todd of Springfield, MO. He was blessed with 9 grandchildren – Tristan Hendricks; Shelby, Spencer and Bryceton Honeycutt; Landon Blackburn, Kayden and Alana Armer, Avalynn and Aiven Hardgrave; and Alice Kollar; and two ex-wives, Angie Todd and Robin Todd, both of MO.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Shelby L. Todd; his paternal grandparents, Sam and Exie Todd of Cedar Gap, MO; and his maternal grandparents, Claude and Hazel Roy of Mansfield, MO, and ex-wife, Debbie Todd of Springfield, MO along with his numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Graveside Services were held Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at 11:00am at the Seymour Masonic Cemetery. Officiating was Pastor Ronnie Roy.
