Douglas County Health Department Confirms COVID-19 Related Death

On June 28th, the Douglas County Health Department reported that it had received notification of 3 probable and 9 confirmed Covid cases. There were two individuals hospitalized and the department confirmed one COVID-related death.
The total number of COVID-related deaths in Douglas County now stands at 30.
The Department also reported three new break through cases (individuals who completed their vaccinations at least two weeks prior to showing symptoms of COVID), as well as one test specimen collected on June 3rd testing positive for the DELTA variant.
