Linda Louise Davidenko

Linda Louise Davidenko (nee Settle) entered into eternal life on May 20, 2021 from an equestrian accident. Born December 17, 1950 in Plainview, Minnesota. Linda was the fifth of 7 children to Beatrice and Alva Settle. Linda married Charles Davidenko on June 26, 1969. They were blessed with two children Christina and Daniel. They resided in Romeoville, Illinois for most of their 21 years of marriage which ended in 1991. Linda was passionate about art. She was extremely talented at embroidery, painting, sewing, woodwork and drawing. Linda enjoyed gatherings with family and friends. She enjoyed laughter and had a laugh like no other. Her children meant the world to her as did her two granddaughters.
In 2015, Linda moved to Ava, Missouri after retiring. It is here that she found her serenity and happiness. She loved riding her horse and giving to her community. Linda was a member of St. Leo’s Church and sat on the Church Council.
Linda is preceded in death by her father Alva, mother Beatrice, Stepfather Henry Katzberg and her sister Karen O’Malley.
She is survived by her daughter Christina, son Daniel (Jen), granddaughters Jessie and Karina, sisters Barb (Ken) Bibly, Audrey Gilbert, Alva (Connie) Settle, Mary Worth, Ann (John) LaBarge, Sharon (Bud) Neal, Edward (Candace) Katzberg, many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at St. Leo’s Church on June 26th at 10 am.
