Marjorie Haynes

Marjorie Haynes 89 years, passed away on May 25, 2021 at Advent Hospital, Shawnee Mission KS, from a stomach ulceration.

Marjorie was born Feb. 5th, 1932 in Plainview, Nebraska to Edward and Maggie (Wright) Pueppke.

Marjorie was a resident of the Ava community growing up. She married Gerald Haynes and moved to the Kansas City area for 35 years before returning to their hometown of Ava to dairy farm.

It was October of 1952 where Gerald and Marjorie Ann Pueppke were united in marriage in Mtn. Home, AR and to this union two children were born.

Marjorie spent her golden years at Sunrise of Lenexa and later Colonial Village where she was known to all to be a friend and the first to join every activity.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband Gerald Haynes, parents, a son, Boyd Edward and two brothers Dale Pueppke, Willard Pueppke and a sister Viola Crabtree and a granddaughter Sally Kay Kohrs.

Marjorie is survived by her daughter Jennifer Haynes, Lenexa, KS, three grandchildren; Nathan Haynes, Spring Palcher, and Jerald Kohrs, three great grandchildren; Kennedy Palcher, Sam and Hank Wilson, and a sister Phyllis Soubier.

Grave side services for Marjorie will be Saturday June 26th, 2021, 1:00 p.m. at the Ellison Cemetery, Ava, MO.
