Circuit Law Day May 19, 2021

During Circuit Law Day on May 19, 2021 the following defendants were sentenced to the Department of Corrections:

Boyd L. Mobbs, 51, Ava, was sentenced to 2 years in prison for Operating a Motor Vehicle without a Valid License after admitting to violating his probation. The original offense occurred in September of 2019 and was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Ashley Bellman-Hart, 25, Ava, was sentenced to 5 years in prison for Tampering with a Motor Vehicle 1st Degree after admitting to violating her probation. The original offense occurred in February of 2016 and was investigated by the Ava Police Department.

There were 46 criminal cases on the docket with some still being conducted by video. There were 5 felony guilty pleas, 5 probation revocations and 2 failure to appear warrant were issued.
