John Stewart

John Stewart, the son of Billie D. Stewart and Geneva Lee Herd Stewart was born November 13, 1958 in Mansfield, Missouri passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2021, on his farm near Mansfield at the age of sixty-two years, five months, and three days.
He was preceded in death by his father, Billie, brother, Danny Stewart, and a nephew, Michael Lee Tackett.
John is survived by a son, Shane Stewart and companion, Cheryl Swopes of Rogersville, MO; two daughters, Shona Morris and her husband, Andy of Republic, MO and Alisha Kingery and her husband, Jason of Seymour, MO; two grandchildren, Gracie Stewart and Owen Morris; his mother, Geneva Stewart of Ava, MO; two brothers, Larry Stewart and his wife, Patsy, of Ava and Armon Stewart and his wife, Sandy of Ava; twin sisters, Dianne Sherman and her husband, Norman of Ava and Deanna Tackett and her husband, Mike of Nebraska City, NE; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was born in Mansfield but raised in Ozark County until moving with his family to Ava when he was eight years old. He was a graduate of Ava High School in the Class of 1976. He had worked at Welton Gravel, Ava, Hutchens Industries, Mansfield, Detroit Tool, Lebanon, General Electric(now Regal Beloit), Springfield as well as doing custom bailing, dozing and farming.
Services were at 1:00p.m. Monday , April 19, 2021 in Harvest Project Revival Center, Mansfield Mo. Officiating were Max Stephens and Terry Bohannon.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions to help with final expenses.
Arrangements are under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Mansfield, Missouri.
