Circuit Law Day December 8, 2020

During Circuit law day on December 8, the following defendant was sentenced to the Department of Corrections:

Skoda Adams, 25, Ava, was sentenced to 5 years in prison for 2nd Degree Arson after admitting to violating his probation. The original offense occurred in February of 2013 and was investigated by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Department.

There were 73 criminal cases on the docket. There were 72 felony cases and 1 misdemeanor case with some still being conducted by video.    There were 3 felony guilty pleas, 1 probation revocation and 9 failure to appear warrants issued.
