American Indian Heritage Month

Michael Boyink/Herald Sandra Walker, Regent for the Carl Neiman Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution, provides a proclamation to Mayor Burrely Loftin to give to Marjorie Pierson and Murl Pierson to honor National American Indian Heritage Month. Murl is the Tribal Council Speaker for the Western Cherokee Nation and Marjorie is the Director for the Western Cherokee Nation Council. They own the Western Cherokee Nation Museum in Mansfield, MO.
