Veterans Day Observed 11/11

Veterans Day will be observed next Wednesday, Nov. 11, and many government offices, banks, and some businesses in the area will close for the holiday.
Since Veterans Day is a federal holiday, there will also be no mail service.
County offices in the courthouse will also close for the day.
The City of Ava offices and the Douglas County Library will close.
The Douglas County Herald Offices will remain open.
