Melton Earns All-District Honors in Cross County Meet
Doug Berger/Herald Mallory Melton finished 8th out of 44 runners, earning her All-District honors. She is on her way to the State meet.
The Ava Bears and Lady Bears competed in the Class 3 District 5 Cross Country meet Saturday at Lake Pomme de Terre. To have qualified for the state meet a team must have finished in the top two and a runner must have finished in the top fifteen.
Mallory Melton finished in 8th place, earning All-District honors, out of 44 runners. She will compete in the state meet on Thursday, November 5th, in Columbia. Missouri.
