Two out-of-town visitors at the Ava Country Club’s guest day, held Wednesday, broke the course record with scores of 31 and 37. Euna Mae Nelson turned in the all time low of 31, followed by Effie Leonard with a 37. Mrs. Nelson’s best score before was a 35 shot on her home course at Twin lakes Country Club, Mountain Home, Arkansas.
