Dark clouds are visible over the Ava Square on May 15th. According to Weather.com, Ava received 7.3” of rain between May 1st and May 18th, while on average for the entire month Ava usually gets 4.25”. The extra rain, heavy at times, has affected the conditions of many Douglas County roads.
