Douglas County Courthouse, License Bureau To Observe Truman Day on Friday

The Douglas County Courthouse will be closed on Friday, May 8, for Truman Day, a State of Missouri holiday  honoring the birthday of Harry S. Truman who was born in Lamar, Missouri. 

Ava License Bureau will also close for the day.

City Hall offices and most local financial institutions will remain  open for business.
