Youngest to Hunt ERIE, Illinois – Special CFI Photo to the Heart from Cliff Lant - Youngest license hunter in Illinois’ history is the title accorded Rollie Seger, 9-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Rolland Seger of Erie. He has been his father’s companion on hunting trips in woods and fields of the Erie community since he was 5. In the picture Rollie shows his license to Arthur Martin, Whiteside County game Wardon. At Mr. Martin’s request, the state department of conservation checked its records to determine whether the boy had a valid claim to his title.
