JAG in DC

Submitted Photo Ava R-1 High School students Michael Williams, 12th grade, and Rayonna Garner, 11th grade were recently choose to participate in the Jobs for America’s Graduates (JAG) National Student Leadership Academy in Washington, D.C. during December 4-8, 2019. In addition to JAG leadership sessions, the students were able to visit the Holocaust Museum at the Smithsonian, Arlington National Cemetery, the WWII Memorial, the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, Martin Luther King Memorial, Vietnam Memorial, Capitol, and the Library of Congress.
