Winning Cross Country

Ava High School graduates, Collin Jenkins and Bryce Mings, are shown competing in the regional cross country meet that sent their college team to Nationals. Collin, a sophomore, and Bryce, a freshman, are students at Mineral Area Community College in Park Hills, Missouri. According retired coach Liz Kyger, both were standout cross country runners at Ava. This year the Mineral Area Mens Cross Country team went on to make history winning the National Championship in Massachusetts. Submitted Photo
