Thanksgiving at the Ava Senior Center

The Ava Senior Center received a special Thanksgiving dinner on Monday, Nov. 18, compliments of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home of Ava. Florence Clinkingbeard and her daughter Toni, along with Delayna Dry and volunteers served the noontime meal. Pastor Rick Spacek, of First Southern Baptist Church, offered prayer and his wife, Donna, provided music. According to the Clinkingbeards, the Senior Center cooks did a wonderful job preparing the Thanksgiving meal.
