Wind Damage

A heavy rainstorm that swept through Ava last week brought high winds that scattered debris, damaged trees, lawns and outdoor furniture.  The hickory tree shown above, located in the southeast section of town, was damaged when the storm caused a large section of the trunk to fall.  Nearby, another tree situated on adjacent property, photo right, was also damaged by the high winds.
