Zach Hamby a Semifinalist for Teacher of the Year

Zach Hamby, an English Teacher at Ava R-1 High School, recently became a semifinalist for the 2020 Missouri Teacher of the Year.

Hamby joins 16 other semifinalists on the list, announced by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).

The 2020 Missouri Teacher of the Year will be selected in August.
