Didn’t Make the Grade

On May 30th, the Eastern Douglas County Volunteer Fire Department responded to an accident three miles east of 95 on Highway 14. A truck had lost its trailer and load while going around a curve. 

There were no injuries, just a damaged road grader. The grader was owned by an excavating company out of Pleasant Hope, MO. Jim’s Body Shop of Ava recovered the damaged grader from the roadside.
