County Jail Progress

Crews continue to work on the new Douglas County Jail at the corner of Industrial Road and Prince Street in Ava. The County broke ground on the new facility on December 13th, 2018.  According to County Clerk Karry Davis, as of May 10th the County has spent $1.54 million against an overall $6.4 million budget.
