Terrific Kids

The Ava R-I Elementary students selected as Terrific Kids for the month are, front row, l to r, Ariana Ahrens, Chris Kimmel, Samantha Dobkins, Ellee Cook, Hailey Tate, Cornelia Masten, Mason Wiedmeier; middle row, l to r, Blake Niesen, Isaiah Preston, Willow Hartley, Sharadon Bell, Sequoya Richardson, Azlynn Albritton, Alexis Galloway; back row, Kota Jones, Taylor Dry, Buck Haden, Katara Jones, Brock Swatosh.  Back row: Colton Hall, Kiwanis member, and Dr. Clint Hall, principal.  Students absent were Tate Roberts, Grayson Roberts, Ella Ingram, Dalilah Shea, and Abby Fortner.  The Kiwanis Club, who sponsors the Terrific Kids recognition, gave each student a bag of goodies which included a piggy bank from Great Southern, an activity book from HomePride Bank; a bumper sticker and refrigerator magnet from Kiwanis Club; magnetic bookmark from State Farm; free movie coupon from Town & Country Supermarket; free happy meal from McDonalds; free ice cream cone from Sonic; and the bag provided by MOCH.  Terrific Kids are chosen by their teachers, and the award is based upon character and behavior.
