High School Students Visit Battlefield

Ava students in Mrs. Tate’s Civil War class visited Wilson’s Creek National Battlefield in Republic, Mo. on Tuesday, Oct. 16. During the visit, the students heard presentations on the life of common soldiers and Civil War medicine.  In addition, the students toured the Ray House and visited several other historical interests in the park.
