Side by Side Winner

Rick Brown, of Lebanon, Mo., center, shows off his ticket which made him the winner of the $17,000 side-by-side utility vehicle.  The vehicle was used to raise funds for the Wall That Heals event held in Ava in September, but upon receipt of the side by side, Rick opted to donate the vehicle back to the Douglas County Veterans Memorial Association for future use.  Those shown above, from left to right, are Bob Sorensen, Alice Downs, Dean Downs, Dave Frohman, Brown, Bill Henry, Irvin Reynolds, Butch Linder and Darlene Sorensen.
