Skyles Resident Assistant At Central Methodist University

FAYETTE, Mo. –– Central Methodist University student Colton Skyles, from Ava, Mo., has been named a CMU resident assistant for the 2018-19 academic year.

Resident assistants are first in line to assist new and returning students with their needs while living on campus. They help others work out personal, physical, emotional, and safety issues.

Skyles has been assigned to Woodward Hall, which provides rooms for approximately 120 men. It opened in 1964, and is named in recognition of Dr. Ralph Woodward, president of CMU from 1950-1970.

Skyles, an education and physical education double major, is a sophomore at Central Methodist.

Since its founding in 1854, CMU has evolved into a university that confers master’s, bachelor’s and associate’s degrees through programming on its main campus in Fayette, Mo., and through extension sites and online.
