Nelma Marie Lister

Nelma Lister,   87 years,   5 months, 12 days old, passed away on September 11, 2018 at Home with her family by her side.  

Nelma was born March 29, 1931 in Douglas County, Missouri to Clint and Nora (Miller) Woolsey. 

Nelma and John Lister were united in marriage  October 26, 1960  in Independence, Mo.

She loved her farm, dog and family.

Nelma was preceded in death by her husband John Lister and four children, Chris and Gene Lister, Kathleen Likens and Janeice Twitty. 

 Nelma is survived by two sons, John Lister, Jr. and Michael Lister, seven grandchildren, Tabitha Lister, Kevin Lister, John Lister, III, Melissa Lister, Jessica Laberge, J.C. Likens and  Miranda Clubb, many great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. 

Funeral services for Nelma will be Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO.  Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to service time.  Burial will be in the Mt.
